Losing Weight - The Information You Must Learn

Everyday all people who are on the diet put the same question that actually unites them together in on crowd: “how many calories it is allowed to consume to lose pounds?” For different individuals the answer is different and depends on the amount of energy that our body needs for our well being. Amazingly, most people just do not know how much they can intake without putting on eight. And that is really unheard-off, as we are the bosses of our organism and should now everything about the mechanism of its functioning. Besides, a person should definitely know without any hesitation the number of calories she or he is consuming at that very moment, like from the first sight. Well, the calories that are needed for the maintenance equal to our basal metabolic rate that is multiplied on our activity level. Actually, BMR means the amount of calories needed for the functioning of our body. For example, this can refer to the situation, when the person is in coma in a hospital; in this case his or her daily calorie consumption would equal his or her BMR.

Interestingly, our basal metabolic rate depends on the several aspects:

1)The current weight – means that for every pound of the current way should be the calories to support the work of the organism.

2) The height – for example if you and your friend have the same weight the basal metabolic rate for you both should be different.

3)The gender – as far as all men have more muscles they need more calories for the energy.

4)The age – the metabolic process makes slower within the age: the older you are the slower it is. It means that you should start dieting as soon as possible due to the fact that next year to lose weight won’t be a piece of cake for you.

The thing is that your sedentary activities should be about 1.2 while the exercises should be equal 1.9. Let’s have a look on the following situation: we have a female aged 25 with 165 cm of height who weights 65 kilos. So, how much to eat in order to lose pounds? Her basal metabolic rate is as follows: 1,400 (calories) x 1.375 (exercises) = 1,925 calories.
