Dont Be a Victim to an Acai Berry Cleanse Scam

The acai berry cleanse scam is giving the acai berry a bad name. We have all seen the fake blogs with pictures telling you the owner of the blog is a 30 something mom that lost 30 pounds or more with free acai berry cleanse supplements. I think most people know these are fake, but they trick a lot of people into believing claims that are unrealistic.

acai berry supplements are popular for a reason. They are very beneficial due to lots of antioxidants, dietary fiber, and omega fatty acids. Unfortunately, there are people who are willing to scam anybody and you need to be protect yourself.

If you are going to protect yourself from the acai berry cleanse scam, you need to know what to look for.

A scam site will look like a blog. It will have a testimonial of the person who supposedly lost weight and published the blog. The story will talk about how she (it is almost always a female) had no energy until she found these free trials for a weight loss supplement and a colon cleanse product.

You will usually see a comments section at the bottom that shows some fictitious readers who wrote in saying how great the supplements work. Usually, the comments are closed so you can’t leave one and if you can leave one, it won’t show up after you leave the page.

The fancy fake blogs (flogs for short) will detect where you are in the world and say something like “Hi this is Shelly from Houston, TX and I want to help you . . . “. No matter where in the world you are, it will look like the person is your neighbor.

Avoiding a scam really isn’t that hard, just ask yourself if the offer looks legitimate. If it appears too good to be true, it is probably a scam.

You also need to pay attention to what you are signing up for. Free trials are a good way to get supplements without a lot of risk. You just need to realize you will be charged for future shipments unless you cancel. Some people have had problems with certain companies. If you are worried about extra charges, use a prepaid card that won’t accept charges unless you have money in there.

If you want to avoid all the potential problems of free trials, there are lots of great deals out there. Many of the free trial supplements are also available in great deals like by 3 get 2 free. You can even buy single bottles with no strings attached. Just do a little research and you will be ok.

I will say it one more time: if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Read the fine print and you will know what you are signing up for.
